Finding God in our grieving gives us the grace to reach out to others who are grieving as well. It gives us the grace to support them and lead them to God. The first impetus of the Emmaus disciples was to return to Jerusalem, to go back to their community to console one another, to share their newly found joy in their vocation and mission. Through this retreat, may the Lord give our school the same grace so that its light may shine ever brighter as it ushers in a new day.
