To PCHS teachers, admin, & staff: Why our recollection comes at an excellent time for our school
A Timely Recollection
On October 14 we celebrate in the whole province of Bukidnon, Fr. Neri Satur Day. At PCHS, we shall have an anticipated celebration of this Day at our school Mass on October 9. May our very own Pangantucanon and alumnus of our school, continue to inspire us to live a life characterized by our care for the environment and the poor. Here's a Facebook post I wrote last year in his honor.

Featured Links: a follow-up on Grief
Last Summer In-Service Program we had an online retreat dubbed Returning to Jerusalem (RTJ) from May 18-22, 2020. One of the inspirations of that retreat was an interview with David Kessler on Amanpour & Co. entitled: We are grieving the world we have now lost. The video was aired on March 27, 2020 about two weeks after WHO officially declared Covid-19 a pandemic. If you have been helped by the points on Grief in that retreat, there's another interview with David Kessler this time on TED Talks entitled: How to find meaning after Loss. The video was aired on June 16, 2021. The third video shared below speaks of the things that can help us when we're grieving. David Kessler speaks of them as the 6 elements we need when in grief. You can watch these videos and use them as follow-up on the retreat last year.

So, this Ignatian year is bookended by Ignatius' two "canonization," his fall and rise :-) The theme is To See All Things New in Christ.
